And we became the Burchett Bunch!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. Since then Jared and I have decided to expand our family from Jared, Kelli and Molly to Jared, Kelli, Baby Burchett, and Molly. We are expecting our first baby June 11. I have had 2 doctors appointments and I am currently 11 weeks along. At today's appointment the baby was very active and moved a whole bunch. It was really cool to see that on the screen. The heart beat at the first appointment was 172 bpm and today it was 161 bpm.
This picture is of the baby at 11 1/2 weeks. You can see his/her little hand.
These pictures are at 11 1/2 weeks also.

This was the first sono I had at 8 weeks and 2 days. (What a difference 3 weeks makes.)

Weekend away

This weekend Jared and I went to Dallas for the Fire Rescue International Convention. I was such a trooper! This was the BIGGEST convention hall I have ever been in. I thought it would never end. We got there at 11 on Saturday morning and left at 4:45 (it started at 10:30 and ended at 5). So this was an all day event. We ended the day at Hooters! Our friends Cory and Jessica, Rob and Brooke went with us!

We left on Friday night so we could sleep a little bit later Saturday morning. PF Changs is my favorite place in the DFW area so that is where dinner took place on Friday. Jared had never eaten there before. However he has heard Rob, Brooke and I talk about the lettuce wraps and he had to see what the hype was all about. So we did!

However the only thing he liked was the lettuce wraps. He did not like anything else. =( Oh well it was worth a shot. After dinner and we checked in at the hotel we decided to head to downtown to see what we could fine to do. We found a roof top that had a live band and went to check it out. WELL, a huge flying roach landed on my hand and after a near heart attack and some jumping and screaming in front of tons of people. I was DONE and so was Brooke. After that we couldn't find any other places to go. We were told McKinney street was the place to be but the cop on the street gave us the wrong directions and we were lost. But we drove around and checked out the crazies in downtown. While doing this we pulled up next to a younger boy, maybe 19 ish, that was picking his nose... and I mean digging for gold. I think his whole finger was up in nose. My classy husband decided to make fun of him by picking his nose out the window for the kid to see. Poor Kid I dont think he realized all 6 of us were laughing (so hard we were crying) and making fun of him. I hope he doesnt have a gf (cause that is really gross)!
All in all it was nice to get away and laugh with friends!

As promised from like a week ago. My classroom!
NOTE: My room is small and it is hard to fit 22 desk in it and have an area for reading. So I did what I could.
The best view I can get of almost my whole room.

Comments!

So I got home today, had some friends over for dinner, checked facebook, and then read some blogs! I got to mine to update and saw I had a comment on one of mine! I just love comments....it shows that someone really does read what I write! =) Sooo

Thanks Kate, Mom got the rug at Kirklands for like $20! I am sure an "R" would look great at your front door! Maybe I will just have to get one for you! (I was too poor at the time of the blog swap to participate, I will catch it next time!)

And then after that (I was so excited) I forgot what I was going to blog about in the first place!

Coming home to this....

Ok first... I have been home all summer with Molly and she got used to that so on Monday when I left for work after Jared was already gone she just looked at me like "where are you going?" it was a little sad for me. However she met me at the door when I came home that afernoon. Today again the sad face and she followed me around while I was getting ready this morning and did not leave my side. So today when I came home this is what I found:

Molly was in her favorite thing: a box... she just loves them.

Jared and I had to order a new pond pump and it came in today and the first thing she did was get in as soon as the pump was out of the box.

My mom bought me this "B" doormat for our house a few weeks ago. I have been wanting one since we got married. It is supposed to go outside on the front porch but Molly LOVES it and lays on it all the time so for now... it stays inside.

I am going to take pictures of my classroom and post about that after Meet the Teacher on Thursday.

Show Us Your Life- Wedding Dress

I know I am a little late so I will try to get caught up!

My wedding dress was candlelight white with an A-line skirt. It had a lace and crystal boddice with the same lace and crystal at the bottom of the skirt. My train was sheer lace and cathedral length. I had a cathedral length veil. I absolutely love my dress and would to be able to wear it all the time.

so here is the UPDATE!

My summer has been quiet! No vacation=time to read and have a fantasy vacation So my fantasy vactions have been to Forks, Washington and Bon Temps, Louisana! Some of you can figure out what I have been reading. TWILIGHT.... I read the whole series twice. I just could not stop until I learned about TRUE BLOOD! I almost think I like it better. It is set in Bon Temps, LA and is kind of like Twilight but for adults. I have really enjoyed reading this summer which is a first in the 25 years of my life. I just finished the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series. My goal was to get them done before I went back to school (which happens to be Monday).

On another note...our friends the Wall's have brought Avery Reese into the world. Jared and I are so excited that she is here.

Now I am looking forward to the welcoming of the Snyder baby whenever he may come. Also, I am going to start working in my classroom next week and I am welcoming anyone who would like to come help. I can usually only work morning because that is whent the air is on and it gets waaay to hot in the afternoons!
